Why Do I Need a Root Canal?
Inside each tooth is a system of blood vessels and nerves, called the pulp, which has the potential to get infected. When bacteria enter into the pulp through deep cavities, fillings and cracks they have the perfect food supply and can multiply causing injury to the pulp. This injury ultimately leads to the death of the tissues and results in abscess and the need for root canal treatment.
